Ms. Khoo is a practicing dietitian for more than 17 years. She obtained her degree in Dietetics with honours from the National University of Malaysia. She is professionally trained in translating the science of food and nutrition to meet the needs of individual or target groups. She also plays a vital role in the promotion of wellness through mindful eating, development of therapeutic diets in Hospital Lam Wah Ee, Penang where she is the chief dietitian.
She is the active member of the Malaysian Dieticians’ Association (MDA) and also the member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, USA. She has been an invited speaker for more than 200 sessions of corporate health talks and medical forums. Although there are many contradictory nutrition messages, she advocates the key to good nutrition is Balance, Variety and Moderation.
